How to Make Out of This World Summer Fruit Cobbler
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Slice fruit, if needed; add 3/4c sugar over the top; let stand until the sugar turn into a syrup; stir before putting into baking dish.
- Place the butter into a 1 1/2qt baking dish; put into preheated oven to melt the butter. Remove dish from oven as soon as the butter is melted.
- In a large bowl combine milk and sugar. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Add the flour mixture to the milk mixture. Pour batter over melted butter in baking dish. Drop, by spoonfuls, fruit mixture evenly over batter. You may also sprinkle top with large crystalized sugar
- Bake at 325 degrees 30-40 minutes or until lightly brown. Top with vanilla ice cream if desired.
