This is not a traditional jello mold salad. The ingredients may look weird- but this is my daughter's favorite dessert salad. It is great for get togethers, and serves a lot.

Ingredients

1 large cottage cheese along w/ 1 small container
1 large box orange jello
1 large can pineapple chunks
2 small can mandarin oranges
1 large tub cool whip
1 cup miniature marshmallows
- be sure to chill fruit prior to preparing

How To Make orange salad, aka goop

Step 1

Stir together cottage cheese and jello in a large bowl until jello is disolved.

Step 2

Drain chilled fruit well and add to mixture.
Step 3

Fold in cool whip and marshmallows. Chill until serving.
