Ingredients

  • 7 to 8
    apples that you prefer
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 2/3 c
    all purpose flour
  • 2/3 c
    quick cooking oats
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 c
    butter, softened or margarine

How to Make OATMEAL APPLECRISP

Step-by-Step

  1. PREHEAT OVEN AT 375 F
    BUTTER DISH I PREFER 13 BY 9
  2. FRUIT MIXTURE
    PEEL AND CORE APPLES, CUT IN 1/4 INCH PIECES OR SLICES MIX WITH 1/3 TO 1/2 A CUP OF BROWN SUGAR TO YOUR PREFERENCE AND SPRINKLE WITH 1 TABLESPOON OF LEMON JUICE OR TO YOUR PREFERENCE POUR AND SPREAD ON BOTTOM OF DISH.
  3. TOPPING: MIX, FLOUR, OATMEAL, BROWN SUGAR,CINNAMON,NUTMEG,SALT CUT BUTTER IN PIECES AND CUT INTO DRY MIXTURE UNTIL CRUMBLY! HINT:I PREFER USING MY HANDS. WHEN CRUMBLY SPRINKLE EVENLY OVER APPLE MIXTURE.
  4. ENJOY! SERVE WARM,PLAIN OR FRESH CREAM,ICECREAM OR WHIPPED CREAM.
