my favorite peach cobbler

This recipe is really good while it is hot or warm! The butter gives it a very good flavor!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup self rising flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 stick butter melted ( not margarine)
  • CRAZY CRUST--MELT BUTTER IN 9 X 13 INCH PAN. MIX FLOUR, SUGER, MILK, & MELTED BUTTER. MIX WELL. THEN POUR INTO THE GREASED PAN.
  • FRUIT MIXTURE
  • 2--16 oz cans sliced peaches in syrup( do not drain)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 stick butter (not margarine)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

How To Make my favorite peach cobbler

  • Step 1
    Mix all ingredients except Vanilla. Heat in pot over medium heat until it starts to thicken. Add vanilla. Pour over crazy crust. CRUST will come to the top as it bakes. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 mins. or until golden brown
  • Step 2
    If you use unsweetened peaches you may want to another 1/4 cup sugar to crust and filling. When you pour the filling try to pour evenly all around the pan.
