This is a cobbler with a quick batter baked on top. As a kid I loved this dessert, especially with ice cream.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 4 cups sliced fresh or frozen peaches (thawed)
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar

How To Make mom's easy peach cobbler

  • Step 1
    Mix 1 cup sugar, cinnamon, and peaches. Set aside. Melt butter in a 2 quart baking dish. In a medium bowl combine remaining ingredients and mix well to make a runny batter. Pour over butter in baking dish. Using a slotted spoon to drain peaches, top baking dish ingredients evenly with peaches. Bake 50-55 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve warm with ice cream or cold with whipped topping.
