How to Make Mom's Date Balls
1Mix together in skillet - Dates, butter, brown sugar and water. Cook over medium heat for 10 - 12 minutes or until thickened to a paste.
2Remove from heat and add 1 tsp. vanilla
3Mix in 2 cups of the rice crispies.
Allow to cool to touch then roll into small balls.
Roll in coconut or powdered sugar.
Serving size depends on how big the balls are.
