1 qt+1 cup sliced apples
2 2/3 Tbspwater
1 tspcinnamon, ground
1/2 Tbsplemon juice
1/2 tspcinnamon, ground
1 cgrate cheesed
How to Make Mom's Cheese Apple Crisp
- Arrange apples in shallow pan (9x13 glass)
(May use apple sauce in place of sliced apples by omitting water)
- Add water and lemon juice
- Topping: Mix sugar,cinnamon, flour and salt. Work in butter until it forms a crumbly texture, then add grated cheese and mix lightly until well combined.
- Sprinkle mixture over apples and bake in moderate oven until apples are tender and topping is browned.
