Ingredients

  • FILLING
  • 3 cups strawberries, washed, hulled and sliced
  • 2 cups blueberries, washed
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoons corn starch
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • TOPPING
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 3/4 cup unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground Himalayan pink salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

How To Make mixed berry crisp

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and lightly grease a large pie plate with cooking spray; set aside.
  • Step 2
    In a large bowl, combine berries, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Stir the ingredients before adding sugar, corn starch, and vanilla extract. Mix well and transfer to the prepared pie plate; set aside.
  • Step 3
    In another bowl, blend together oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Pour over melted butter and stir until coated and no longer dry.
  • Step 4
    Spoon oat mixture on top of the berries, making sure to cover the entire surface.
  • Step 5
    Transfer the pie plate to the preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown. Allow to cool 15 minutes before serving.
