1preheat oven to 350°. Put blueberries, cherries, 3/4 cup sugar and water in a bowl and stir to mix.
Melt butter in a large ovenproof baking dish, swirling to coat the bottom.
2In another bowl, mix flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder and milk. Mix well. Pour into baking dish. Spread the fruit mixture with liquid evenly over the batter. Bake for one hour or till crust is done. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream. Serves 6 to 8.
