As the title implies, this recipe comes from my late grandmother, as shared with me by my mother.

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp butter
- 2 cups sugar (divided)
- 3/4 cup flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 dash salt
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 cups sliced peaches
How To Make memaw's peach cobbler

Step 1Melt butter in 2 qt. baking dish. Combine 1 c. sugar, flour, baking powder, salt. Add milk and stir until mixed. Pour batter over butter in baking dish; do not stir. Combine peaches and remaining sugar. Spoon over batter. Do not stir. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
