Ingredients
- 5 large granny smith apples, peeled, cut into 1/4"-thick slices
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 3/4 cup flour
- 3/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans
How To Make melt in your mouth apple-pecan crisp

Step 1Lightly spray inside liner of slow-cooker w/ cooking spray. Place apple slices in bottom of slow-cooker, drizzle w/ lemon juice, toss to coat.

Step 2In bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt. Cut in butter w/ 2 forks until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples.

Step 3Cover, cook on high 2-3 hrs, or until apples are tender. I find that it takes about 1 hr and 30 mins. Sprinkle w/ pecans and serve warm w/ whipped cream or ice cream.
