Ingredients

  • 4 c
    sliced apples
  • 1 Tbsp
    flour
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • pinch
    of salt
  • 1/2 c
    oatmeal, uncooked
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/4 c
    oleo
  • 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 c
    nuts (optional)

How to Make Mammas Best Apple Crisp

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix together flour, sugar, cinnamon, and pinch of salt. Add apples to this mixture and put in a buttered 9x13 pan.
  2. Then mix together the oatmeal, brown sugar, oleo, flour, soda, and baking powder. Spread this evenly over apple mixture. Bake at 350 degrees 35-40 minutes or until topping is brown.
