linda’s fresh strawberry dessert
This can be made with any of your favorite fruit. Just match fruit to jello flavor. This recipe was giving to me by my mother, Linda Feldkamp.

Ingredients
- CRUST
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 stick margarine
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- FIRST LAYER (ON TOP OF CRUST)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 8 ounces cream chese
- 12 ounces cool whip
- SECOND LAYER
- 20 - or more strawberries
- THIRD LAYER
- 1 3/4 cups water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons corn starch
- 1 package strawberry jello
How To Make linda’s fresh strawberry dessert

Step 1Mix crust ingredients together & press into 9x13 pan bake at 325 for 25 minutes watch closely so it doesn’t get too brown. Cool crust

Step 2While crust is cooling, Beat sugar & cream cheese well before adding cool whip, spread on top cooled crust.

Step 3Cook water, sugar, and corn starch to thicken, stirring continually then add 1 small package strawberry jello, cool but not let it set up set up.

Step 4While jello mixture is cooling, lay sliced strawberries onto whipped cream layer, once jello mixture has cooled, pour over strawberries. Place in refrigerator to allow jello to set before serving
