Ingredients For lemon squares

  • 1 c
    margarine
  • 2 c
    flour
  • 1/2 c
    powdered sugar
  • 4
    eggs
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 4 Tbsp
    flour
  • 4 Tbsp
    lemon juice

How To Make lemon squares

  • 1
    Cream margarine, flour and powdered sugar and press into a 9 x 13 pan.

    Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees.

    Beat 4 eggs until light and fluffy. Add 2 cups sugar, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 4 tablespoons flour and 4 tablespoons lemon juice.

    Pour over crust and bake 25 minutes.

    Sprinkle sugar over. When cool, cut into squares.
