Ingredients

  • 3 large
    pears, peeled & thinly sliced
  • 1/4 c
    fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    self-rising flour
  • 3/4 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 tsp
    grated lemon rind
  • 1/2 c
    butter or margarine
  • ·
    whipped cream, unsweetened

How to Make LEMON-PEAR PUDDING

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 400^. Combine first 3 ingredients; place in a lightly greased 8" square baking dish.
  2. Combine flour, brown sugar and lemon rind; cut in butter with a pastry blender until mixture is crumbly, then sprinkle evenly over pear mixture.
  3. Bake for 30-35 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream.
