My mother-in-law, Stella Curry, taught me so much about cooking. My own mother, Virgie Osborne, was a great cook too. I have always had some big shoes to fill. Mrs.Curry had 16 children so she needed some quick recipes. Here goes!

Ingredients
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- 1 cup self rising flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 1 can fruit pie filling or large can peaches, drained
How To Make lazy man's cobbler

Step 1Preheat oven to 350. Spray a 9x13 pan with nonstick spray. Place one stick of margarine or butter in pan and place in oven until melted.

Step 2In large bowl whisk together flour, sugar and milk into a smooth, thin batter. Remove pan from oven and pour batter into melted margarine/butter.

Step 3Stir fruit pie filling or canned peaches into batter. Bake 35-45 minutes until top in golden brown. Serve warm with ice cream, whipped cream or cold milk. Then go back for seconds, thirds, whatever.
