Ingredients

  • 2 stick
    butter/margarine
  • 1 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 c
    oatmeal
  • 1 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 4 c
    rhubarb
  • 2 Tbsp
    cornstarch
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    water
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla

How to Make Inez Kleppe's Best Ever Rhubarb Crisp

Step-by-Step

  1. Melt butter/margarine and mix with brown sugar, oatmeal, flour & cinnamon. Set aside.
  2. Put cut up rhubarb in the bottom of a 9 x 13 pan
  3. In saucepan mix the cornstarch and sugar. Add the water. Bring to boil. Add vanilla. Pour over rhubarb
  4. Cover top with crumb mixture.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
