holiday cranberry cobbler tart

This recipe was given to me by my Aunt from Finland back in 2005. Everyone loves it!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups cranberries fresh or frozen
  • 1/4 cup walnuts roughly chopped
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • MIX TOGETHER - COAT CRANBERRIES IN SUGAR AND PUT INTO A 9" PIE PLATE -
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil

  • Step 1
    Have oven preheating at 325 Mix well until a batter forms - spread over the top of the cranberries Bake 45 minutes @ 325 Awesome with french vanilla ice cream
  • Step 2
    TIP: use real sugar I tried to make it with splenda and it didn't sweeten the cranberries enough it was very tart
  • Step 3
    I have also made it using a mix of strawberry/rasp/blackberry and that was amazing too
