My dear Aunt Josephine made this every holiday and it was a fav of mine. I just found the recipe while going thru one of my moms cookbooks. I am making this today.

Ingredients

  • 1 large can pineapple (save juice)
  • 1/2 pound grapes
  • 1/2 pound minature marshmellows
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • DRESSING
  • 1 cup sugar granulated
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 2 large eggs beaten

How To Make heavenly hash

  • Step 1
    Drain juice from pineapple and add enough water to make 3 cups. Set aside.
  • Step 2
    In a bowl cream 1 cup granulated sugar, 4 T flour and enough of your pineapple water to make a paste. And 2 beaten eggs and beat until smooth. Add remaining pineapple water and mix
  • Step 3
    Tranfer to a double boiler and cook until thick. Chill.
  • Step 4
    Add dressing to pineapple mixtue and refridgerate until chilled.
  • Step 5
    Whip one pint of heavy whippin cream and to chilled mixture. Enjoy.
