grilled friut shortcake kabobs with strawberry orange marmalade syrup
My family and friends love this Grilling Time Of Year..A lot of us also have huge Sweet-tooth's...me included. All of us being big shortcake fans, I thought this addition to our grilling times together, would make a special ending to our grilled meals together.

How To Make grilled friut shortcake kabobs with strawberry orange marmalade syrup
-
Step 11.) In a small bowl, mix strawberry syrup and orange marmalade together until blended; set aside.
-
Step 22.) Alternately, thread 2 plums quarters, 2 pineapple chunks, 1 or 2 cake cubes and 2 whole strawberries onto each bamboo skewer. Place kabobs on a large sheet of heavy-duty foil over top of large serving tray.
-
Step 33.) Heat gas or charcoal grill to medium heat. Place foil lined kabobs onto heated grill, line kabobs single file next to each other and heat for 1 to 1½ minutes on each side, or until cake is lightly golden brown and fruit in tender, brushing occasionally with strawberry orange marmalade syrup.
-
Step 44.) Remove kabobs from grill, place onto serving tray and serve.
