Fruit Tortillas

Got this recipe out of a local Junior League Cookbook about 20 years ago. It really is delicious and always a hit.

1 can pie filling ( any kind)
flour tortillas
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 sticks butter
1 1/2 cups water
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla


1Place 1 Tbsp. filling into tortilla and roll up.
2Place in casserole dish, seam side down.
3Continue filling tortillas until filling is gone.
4Melt butter and add to sugar and water.
5Heat until sugar dissolves. Add cinnamon and vanilla. Do not boil.
6Pour over tortillas. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
7It is delicious served with vanilla ice cream.
