Got this recipe out of a local Junior League Cookbook about 20 years ago. It really is delicious and always a hit.

1 can pie filling ( any kind)
flour tortillas
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 sticks butter
1 1/2 cups water
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla

How to Make Fruit Tortillas


  • 1Place 1 Tbsp. filling into tortilla and roll up.
  • 2Place in casserole dish, seam side down.
  • 3Continue filling tortillas until filling is gone.
  • 4Melt butter and add to sugar and water.
  • 5Heat until sugar dissolves. Add cinnamon and vanilla. Do not boil.
  • 6Pour over tortillas. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
  • 7It is delicious served with vanilla ice cream.
