This is an easy to make impressive dessert to serve in individual dishes. Sometimes on catering gigs, we used champagne glasses for the presentation. Or you can let each person help themself from the larger salad bowl. Note: Prep time includes chiling for an hour in fridge.

Ingredients
- 1 pint fresh blueberries
- 1 pint fresh strawberries
- FRENCH CREME INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1/2 cup sifted confectioners sugar
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
How To Make fruit salad with french creme (sallye)

Step 1Wash and drain strawberries. Remove stems, cut in half (optional) and transfer to glass salad bowl Wash and drain blueberries. Place in bowl with strawberries

Step 2TO MAKE FRENCH CREME:

Step 3Place whipping cream in chilled mixing bowl and beat until foamy.

Step 4Gradually add powdered sugar while continuing to beat. Beat until soft peaks form.

Step 5Gently fold in softened sour cream and orange zest.

Step 6Chill at least an hour before serving. Pour French creme over berries when ready to serve.

Step 7Options: You can sprinkle a few chocolate curls or toasted coconut over for garnish.
