4 cdiced fresh fruit (rhubarb, apples, cherries, blueberries. i have used frozen blueberries successfully.
1 cflour, sifted
1 cbrown sugar, packed
1/2 cbutter, melted
How to Make Fruit Crunch
- Mix flour, oatmeal, brown sugar, melted butter and cinnamon together until crumbly in texture. Press half of crumb mixture into a greased 9-inch square pan. Add diced fresh fruit.
- In a saucepan mix granulated sugar, water, cornstarch and vanilla. Cook syrup ingredients until thick and clear. Pour over fruit. Top with remaining crumbs.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
