This simple and delicious recipe can be made with any prepared pie or pudding filling. The use of a can of whole cranberry sauce is delicious too-if using your own homemade sauce or pudding 1 3/4 cups should be used.

Ingredients

  • 1 c
    all purpose flour or bisquick
  • 1 c
    oatmeal, uncooked
  • 1/2 c
    firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c
    cold butter or margarine
  • 20 oz
    pineapple pie filling or filling of your choice-(1 3/4 cup)

How to Make Fruit Crunch

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat oven to 350^. Grease an 8-in. square baking dish. Set aside.
    Combine flour, oatmeal and brown sugar. Cut in butter until crumbly.
  2. Place a little over 1/2 of the mixture in a greased 8-inch square baking dish.
  3. Cover with the pineapple or other filling.
    Top with remaining crumbs.
    Bake for 50 minutes.It must be very crisp. Serve with ice cream of whipped topping.
