Ingredients

  • 1 can(s)
    comstock fruit filling
  • 1 box
    jiffy yellow cake mix
  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 1 c
    chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)
  • 1 Tbsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp
    brown sugar

How to Make Fruit Brown Betty

Step-by-Step

  1. Place fruit filling on bottom of deep ovenware dish.
    Sprinkle on nuts, brown sugar and cinnamon.
    Cut 3/4 stick butter on top.
    Cover with dry cake mix.
    Cut 1/4 stick butter on top.
  2. Bake at 340 degrees for 20 minutes.
  3. Serve with ice cream (optional)
