Most of us have had fried apples. This is a nice change of pace. You don't have to peel the pears unless you want to. Serve with whipped cream or over vanilla ice cream.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

These simple fried pears are so versatile, they could be a dessert, side dish, or breakfast. They're sweet, juicy, and very tender. Top waffles, pancakes, or French toast with them to sweeten up the day. Just snack on them from the pan. Or, add some vanilla ice cream to a bowl of fried peaches for an easy dessert.
