Ingredients
- 2 cups canola oil for frying
- 2 - large ripe peaches
- 1 cup self rising flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 2 - eggs
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
How To Make fresh peach fritters

Step 1In a small saucepan, heat oil over medium high heat until 350 degrees. Peel and pit peaches and slice into ½-inch slices, set aside.

Step 2In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, sugar and cinnamon. Add butter, milk and eggs. Whisk until smooth. Dip each peach slice into batter with a fork and place gently into heated oil, 4 at a time, cooking 2 minutes. Flip over and cook 1-2 additional minutes, until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.

Step 3Serve sprinkled with sifted powdered sugar. Serves 4.
