We had this for dessert last night and so glad I did we had company this gentleman is from India never ever had rhubarb before. He absolutely loved it we love it here and I had no idea he had never had it before so it was a new experience for him

Ingredients

  • 2 c
    strawberries
  • 2 c
    rhubarb
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    flour
  • TOPPING

  • 3/4 c
    flour
  • 3/4 c
    oatmeal
  • 3/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/8 tsp
    salt
  • I/2 c
    butter

How to Make Easy Strawberry Rhubarb Crisp

Step-by-Step

  1. Pour boiling water over Rhubarb let sit 10 minutes
  2. While rhubarb is sitting clean and slice Strawberrys
  3. Drain rhubarb add strawberrys mix sugar and flour together pour over rhubarb and strawberrys mix well pour into baking dish.
  4. Mix flour, oatmeal, brown sugar and butter cut in slices and softened. Cut together with pasty cutter.
  5. Pour over other mixture.
    Bake in 350 oven till top is golden and mixture is bubbly. About 35 minutes.
