Ingredients

4 cups chopped rhubarb
1 package strawberry jello (small size)
1 cup white sugar
1 package white or yello cake mix
1 stick margarine
1 1/2 cups water

How To Make easy rhubarb dessert

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350. Using a 9x13 glass baking dish layer the rhubarb, sugar, and strawberry jello.

Step 2

Melt margarine. Sprinkle the dry cake mix over the fruit and then drizzle it with the melted margarine. Pour the water over it.
Step 3

Bake in a 350 degree oven for 40 min or until the top is golden and the dessert is bubbling
Step 4

excellent with ice cream or whipped cream. Serve warm or cold. I have made this with peaches and blueberries using a peach jello and reducing the sugar or eliminating it if your peaches are tree ripe
