2-2 1/2 c
sliced fresh pears (i removed the skin)
2 c
sugar, divided
4 Tbsp
butter, cold
3/4 c
flour
2 tsp
baking powder
1 tsp
cinnamon
1/4 tsp
salt
3/4 c
milk
1
egg

How to Make Easy Pear Cobbler

Step-by-Step

  • 1Mix pears with 1 cup sugar and let stand. Place butter in a 2 quart casserole dish and place in 325 degree oven until melted. Combine all dry ingredients, including remaining sugar. Mix well. Whisk together the milk and egg; Slowly combine with dry ingredients to make batter.
  • 2Pour over melted butter. Do not stir. spoon pears over the batter.
  • 3Bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 50 to 60 minutes until brown and pears are tender.
