2-2 1/2 csliced fresh pears (i removed the skin)
2 csugar, divided
4 Tbspbutter, cold
2 tspbaking powder
How to Make Easy Pear Cobbler
- Mix pears with 1 cup sugar and let stand. Place butter in a 2 quart casserole dish and place in 325 degree oven until melted. Combine all dry ingredients, including remaining sugar. Mix well. Whisk together the milk and egg; Slowly combine with dry ingredients to make batter.
- Pour over melted butter. Do not stir. spoon pears over the batter.
- Bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 50 to 60 minutes until brown and pears are tender.
