easy fruit cobbler
This is a recipe a fellow employee gave me years ago when we had one of our monthly pot-luck lunches. It was just so simple and delicious that I haven't made a cobbler the "old-fashioned" way in years.

Ingredients
- 1 stick butter
- 2 cups baking mix (pioneer or bisquick)
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 large (#2 1/2) can peaches with juice
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
How To Make easy fruit cobbler

Step 1Melt butter in 9 x 13 baking dish in oven.

Step 2Mix baking mix, sugar and milk in a medium bowl.

Step 3Pour batter in pan with melted butter.

Step 4Spoon peaches and juice over batter (pour any extra juice over the batter also). Do not stir.

Step 5Combine brown sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over top of mixture.

Step 6Bake for 1 hour at 350 F.

Step 7Serve warm with ice cream, whipped topping or just plain.
