This is a recipe a fellow employee gave me years ago when we had one of our monthly pot-luck lunches. It was just so simple and delicious that I haven't made a cobbler the "old-fashioned" way in years.

2 c
baking mix (pioneer or bisquick)
1 c
1 c
1 large
(#2 1/2) can peaches with juice
1/4 tsp
ground cinnamon
1 tsp
brown sugar

How to Make Easy Fruit Cobbler


  • 1Melt butter in 9 x 13 baking dish in oven.
  • 2Mix baking mix, sugar and milk in a medium bowl.
  • 3Pour batter in pan with melted butter.
  • 4Spoon peaches and juice over batter (pour any extra juice over the batter also). Do not stir.
  • 5Combine brown sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over top of mixture.
  • 6Bake for 1 hour at 350 F.
  • 7Serve warm with ice cream, whipped topping or just plain.
