This is my oldest son's favorite dessert.I've been making this since 1969. It is so easy to make and fast.

Ingredients

1 box dune hines yellow cake mix
1 can cherry pie filling
1 stick margarine or butter melted

How To Make easy cherry crunch

Step 1

Spray 9"x13" dish with Pam.Preheat oven to 350.

Step 2

Pour cherry pie filling in dish.
Step 3

Mix cake mix and melted butter.I use my hands to get it mixed good.Should look like peas.
Step 4

Sprinkle evenly on top of cherry's. Bake for 30 min. or until top is golden brown.
Step 5

I serve mine with vanilla ice cream.
Step 6

NOTE: You can use any kind of pie filling.In apple I put cinnamon and chopped walnuts in my cake mix.Lemon pie filling w/lemon cake mix.
