refrigerated crescent rolls
2 large
granny smith apples
2 stick
butter, cold
1 1/4 c
sugar
12 oz
mountain dew
cinnamon, to taste
1 tsp
vanilla extract

How to Make EASY APPLE DUMPLINGS

Step-by-Step

  • 1Grease 9x13" pan. Preheat oven to 350 dg.F. Peel, core, and cut each apple into 8 equal pieces. Open rolls and seperate. Wrap a piece of dough around each apple slice. Place face down in pan. In medium saucepan, melt butter, add sugar and stir until well mixed. Remove from heat; add vanilla. Pour butter mixture over rolls. Pour Mountain Dew around edge of pan and sprinkle rolls with cinnamon.
  • 2Bake @ 350 dg. F. for 40 minutes, uncovered.
  • 3Delicious alone, but even better with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
