Ingredients

  • 2 can(s)
    refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 2 large
    granny smith apples
  • 2 stick
    butter, cold
  • 1 1/4 c
    sugar
  • 12 oz
    mountain dew
  • ·
    cinnamon, to taste
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract

How to Make EASY APPLE DUMPLINGS

Step-by-Step

  1. Grease 9x13" pan. Preheat oven to 350 dg.F. Peel, core, and cut each apple into 8 equal pieces. Open rolls and seperate. Wrap a piece of dough around each apple slice. Place face down in pan. In medium saucepan, melt butter, add sugar and stir until well mixed. Remove from heat; add vanilla. Pour butter mixture over rolls. Pour Mountain Dew around edge of pan and sprinkle rolls with cinnamon.
  2. Bake @ 350 dg. F. for 40 minutes, uncovered.
  3. Delicious alone, but even better with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
