These are so easy to make. They have a definite fall flavor, so delicious. I make them every fall for myself and whip up a batch for my daughter.

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 - 8 oz pkg refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1-1/3 cup apple pie filling
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup toasted, chopped pecans
How To Make easy apple dumplings

Step 1Heat oven to 350. Place butter in a lg baking dish, place in oven until butter is melted. remove baking dish from oven. In microwave safe bowl, microwave 1/4 cup water and sugar until sugar dissolves.

Step 2Unroll dough onto lightly floured surface. Roll into a 10" x 14" rectangle. In bowl, combine apple pie filling, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and pecans. Spread mix over dough to w/in 1/2" of edges.

Step 3Starting at short end, roll dough up jelly-roll style. Pressing seam to seal. Cut into 16-3/4" thick slices. Place slices in baking dish. Pour sugar mix over dumplings. Bake 35 mins, or until golden.
