- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, cold
How To Make easy apple crumble
-
Step 1Preheat the oven to 375 degree F.
-
Step 2Peel and core the apples. Cut the apples into thick slices and place in an ungreased baking dish. I use a 9 inch round or square baking dish.
-
Step 3Combine the sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg together in another bowl and mix until well blended. Sprinkle the sugar mixture over the apple slices.
-
Step 4Combine the flour, brown sugar, and butter together in another bowl until the mixture has a crumbly texture. Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the apples and then place the crumble in the preheated oven.
-
Step 5Bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until apples are tender when poked and the topping is golden brown and crispy.
-
Step 6Remove from the oven and serve while warm. Serve with a scoop of ice cream or some cream.
