easy and delicious apple cobbler
My friend Linda owns an apple orchard, she aquires many great apple recipes. I buy apples from her every year. This is a very delicious and quick made apple cobbler. Enjoy !!

Ingredients
- 5 cups peeled and thinly sliced apples(i like granny smith)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon butter, unsalted at room temperature
- BATTER
- 1/2 cup allpurpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 medium egg, slightly beaten
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/3 cup butterscotch caramel sauce
How To Make easy and delicious apple cobbler

Step 1COBBLER: Pre heat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease a nine (9) inch baking dish. Place apple slices on the bottom. combine other ingredients in cobbler and gently pour over apple slices. Dot with butter and set aside.

Step 2Batter: Combine flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt. Add butter and egg, combine well. Spoon over apple mixture in 9 equal portions, batter will spread during cooking. Bake in 375 degree oven 35-40 minutes.

Step 3When cobbler comes out of oven, drizzle the butterscotch Caramal Sauce over top (you can buy it at the super market)and sprinkle it with the brown sugar.
