I learned this from a friend and it can be done with any fruit that you want to make a cobbler with. Blackberries are a great alternative.

How to Make Easiest Cherry Cobbler

Step-by-Step

  1. mix the yellow cake mix as directed on the box.
  2. pour 1/3 in cake pan, then pour 1/3 cherry mix in. Keep doing this three times till both are gone.
  3. Cook in oven at 350 degrees for 45mins.
  4. serve warm.
