Ingredients

  • 3 medium baking apples, peeled, cut into 1/2 inch slices (3 cups)
  • 3 medium, slightly ripe, firm bartlett pears, peeled, cut into 1/2 slices ( 3 cups)
  • 1/2 cup dried apricot halves, cut in half
  • 1/2 cup dried plums, cut in half
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2 tablespoons bisquick
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped crystalized ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon clove, ground
  • TOPPING
  • 1-1/2 cup bisquick
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon coarse sugar

How To Make delicious fruit compote cobbler

  • Step 1
    In a large bowl, mix compote ingredients. Spoon into ungreased 8 inch square glass baking dish.
  • Step 2
    Bake at 375 degrees, uncovered for 25 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Meanwhile, in same bowl, mix all topping ingredients, except coarse sugar, using a spoon until dough forms.
  • Step 4
    Drop dough by spoonfuls over top of hot compote. Sprinkle with coarse sugar.
  • Step 5
    Bake 25 to 30 minutes until fruit is tender and topping is golden brown.
