Ingredients

  • 3 cups young rhubarb, unpeeled, diced
  • 1 tablespoon unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 6 tablespoons unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup quick cooking oats

How To Make crumbly-topped rhubarb

  • Step 1
    Preheat the oven to 350.
  • Step 2
    In a 10x6x2 inch baking dish, combine the first 6 ingredients.
  • Step 3
    Cream the butter with the flour and brown sugar, then stir in the oats.
  • Step 4
    Sprinkle over the rhubarb.
  • Step 5
    Bake for 40 minutes or until the rhubarb is tender and the top is brown.
