Crock Pot Red Hot Applesauce

My cousin didn't remember where she got this recipe but was happy to pass it on to me last winter. She made her's chucky, but I used my electric stick mixer/blender and made mine smooth right in the crock pot.

  • 10 to 12
    apples, peeled, cored and chopped
  • 3/4 c
    hot cimmamon candies
  • 1/3 c
    apple juice, unsweetened

How to Make Crock Pot Red Hot Applesauce


  1. Combine apples, candies and apple juice in a six quart crock-pot.
  2. Cover and cook on low heat for 7 to 8 hours or on high heat for 4 hours our until desired consistency.
  3. Can be made chucky or smooth as disired.
  4. Serve warm or chilled.
