creamy peach cornbread coffeecake

I like peaches and I love cream cheese so this recipe is a combination of two of my favorites. Add cornbread to the mixture and you know this recipe has to be excellent. It is very easy to make and is a crowd pleaser. Enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 1 package cornbread mix
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 2 cups peach pie filling or one can
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 - egg
  • 1 teaspoon each cinnamon and brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

How To Make creamy peach cornbread coffeecake

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly grease a 8x8 pan.
  • Step 2
    Mix together cream cheese, vanilla, sugar and egg with a mixer. Set aside
  • Step 3
    Mix the cornbread, honey, and water with a spatula until combined.
  • Step 4
    Spoon half of the cornbread mixture into the pan. Spread the peach filling over the cornbread. Layer the cheese mixture over the peach filling. Drizzle the remaining cornbread mixture over the cheese mixture. Sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar mixture. Bake for about 30 minutes until it is golden brown.
