Ingredients

  • 1 cup cranberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 - egg
  • 1/4 cup pecans, in pieces
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons shortening, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

How To Make cranberry pecan cobbler

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350.
  • Step 2
    In a plastic bag shake 1/4 cup sugar, chopped pecans and cranberries together. Pour into the bottom of a 8-inch well greased pie pan.
  • Step 3
    Mix all other ingredients together and pour over the berries, sugar and pecans.
  • Step 4
    Bake for 40-45 minutes. You can serve this warm or cooled.
