This was originally a cranberry raisin pie recipe, but I switched it up a bit, and the family likes this better! Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/4 c
    flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 1 bottle
    small 12oz bottle orange juice
  • 1 pkg
    5 oz. dried cranberries
  • 1 pkg
    4.5 oz. raisins
  • 1 c
    coarsly chopped pecans
  • ·

  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1 stick
    butter, softened
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla exact
  • 1/2 tsp
    almond extract
  • 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 c
    oatmeal

How to Make Cranberry Orange Crisp

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 325* Grease, or pam a large round glass casserole dish.
  2. In a medium sized saucepan, combine sugar, flour, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg; gradually stir in the orange juice until smooth. Stir in cranberries, and raisins. Heat over med-high heat stirring constantly until boiling. boil 1 min, remove from heat and pour mixture into the prepared casserole dish.
  3. Sprinkle chopped pecans over the top of the cranberry mixture.. In a seperate bowl; to softened butter add the sugar, flour, vanilla, almond extract and cinnamon; add the oatmeal and mix until crumbly with a fork... Sprinkle topping over cranberry mixture.
  4. Bake for 40 min. Enjoy!
