My kids never liked the taste of cranberry sauces or relishes- but...it's Thanksgiving and you've gotta have cranberries. Found this recipe (don't remember where-I'm old LOL) My kids love it, and so do I-but, they put cool whip on top

Ingredients
- 1 large pkg. jello- sherry,strawberry or raspberry (i like cherry)
- 1/4 cup boiling water
- 1 8oz. cans crushed pineapple w/ juice-not drained
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 can wholeberry cranberry sauce
- 1 package 16 oz. sour cream
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans ,may be toasted (optional)
How To Make cranberry mousse

Step 1combine first 7 ingredients in saucepan over med. heat,stir until cranberry sauce is melted and incorporated.

Step 2refrigerate until it has started to set-place in blender,add sour cream and nuts and pulse until sour cream shows no white lumps- refrigerate,in serving bowl or mold until set,but with the smooth consistency of mousse
