brown rice, cooked
1 can(s)
cranberry sauce(14oz. can)whole berries
1 Tbsp
lemon juice
2 tsp
cinnamon, ground (divided)
1 c
brown sugar (divided)
1/4 Tbsp
2 Tbsp
butter, melted
1 c
graham crackers, crushed

How to Make Cranberry/Brown Rice Crisp


  • 1first butter a shallow baking dish, in a large bowl combine the instant brown rice, can of cranberries, lemon juice, 1/2 cup of the brown sugar, half of the cinnamon & salt
  • 2pour into prepared dish, then in a seperate small bowl, combine the graham crushed crackers, rest of cinnamon, brown sugar and butter...mix well and top the dish
  • 3bake 350 for 20 mins. till golden brown... cool for at least 30 mins... serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped whip if desired
