Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 cups quick cooking rolled oats
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon finely shredded lemon peel
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 cup margarine or butter
- 1 can (16 oz) cranberry sauce
- 1/4 cup finely chopped pecans or walnuts
How To Make cranberry bars

Step 1In large mixing bowl stir together the flour oats, brown sugar, lemon peel and baking soda. Stir in margarine or butter, mix well. Reserve 1 cup for top. Pat remaining mix in ungreased 12x7x2" pan. Bake 350 df for 20 minutes.

Step 2Spread sauce atop of crust. Stir nuts into reserved mix, sprinkle on top cranberry sauce. Lightly pat oat mix into sauce. Bake 25-30 minutes more. Cool in pan. Makes 24 bars.
