2 call purpose flour

1 1/4 cbutter, softened

3 cuncooked oatmeal
How to Make Cranberry Bars
- To make filling: Combine sugar and water in saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Add cranberries and cook until cranberries pop, about 5 minutes.
- Add orange juice, peel, butter, cinnamon and salt. Cook until mixture thickens, about 5 more minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in walnuts. Set aside to cool.
- To make dough: Sift flour, salt and sugar. Cut in butter.
- Add oatmeal and mix thoroughly.
- Pat half the oatmeal dough in an ungreased 13 x 9 x 2 pan, patting dough down firmly and evenly.
- Spread filling on top.
- Pat remaining oatmeal dough over the filling.
- Bake in a preheated 425 degree oven for 25-30 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Cool and cut into bars.
