Ingredients

  • 2 - apples
  • 2 cans crescent rolls
  • 1 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 can 12oz lemon-lime soda
  • 1 cup butter, cold

How To Make country apple dumplings

  • Step 1
    preheat oven to 350 degrees / greased 9x13 baking pan
  • Step 2
    cut apples into 8 wedges and set aside. separate the crescent rolls triangles. roll each apple wedge in roll ,start at small end.pinch to seal and place in baking pan.
  • Step 3
    melt butter in small saucepan and stir in sugar cinnamon. pour over apple dumplings.pour soda over apples next.
  • Step 4
    bake for 35-45 minutes untill golden brown and apples are tender with tested with fork.....enjoy with vanilla ice cream or whipped topping....
