I used this recipe a lot in the fall when I was a Pampered Chef Consultant. So easy and versatile. Great right out of the oven with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. This is easy for kids to make using the Apple-Peeler-Corer-Slicer from Pampered Chef. If you don't have one cut apples thin.

Ingredients

5
granny smith apples
1 c
brown sugar
2 Tbsp
all purpose flour
1 tsp
cinnamon, ground
1/2 tsp
allspice, ground
1
fresh lemon
1 pkg
refrigerated sugar cookie dough

Step-By-Step

1Heat oven to 350F. Peel, core and slice apples with apple-peeler-corer-slicer. If you don't have one, do the above by hand and slice thin. Combine with brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, allspice. Squeeze lemon juice on apple mixture. Place in a ungreased deep dish pan. Spoon cookie dough on top. Sprinkle with more cinnamon and sugar. Bake for 35 minutes or until cookies on top are done.
