Ingredients

  • 5
    granny smith apples
  • 1 c
    brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp
    allspice, ground
  • 1
    lemon
  • 1 pkg
    refrigerated sugar cookie dough

How to Make Cookie Apple Cobbler

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat oven to 350F. Peel, core and slice apples (works really easy with an apple/peeler/corer/slicer). Combine apples, brown sugar, allspice,and lemon juice in a bowl. Toss to coat apples. Spoon into ungreased casserole dish. Spoon cookie dough evenly over apples. Sprinkle more cinnamon and sugar over the top. Bake 35 minutes or until cookies on top are done.
  2. Options: canned cherries, fresh or frozen blueberries
